I offer individually tailored primary and advanced ground and flight training for single and multi-engine airplanes in the Houston, TX area.
For existing pilots, I can handle your flight review, IPC, WINGS activities, adding an instrument rating, additional airplane category/class, complex or high-performance endorsements, or training toward your commercial or flight instructor certificates.
If you are totally new to flying, we can do a discovery flight first as a quick and fun way to see what it's like being up in a small airplane for flight training. We'll go fly for about an hour, and you get to actually control the plane as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

I have successfully trained many students over the years, and one promise I always make is this:
I don't just send someone to their checkride because they meet the basic hourly minimums. My students earn my endorsement once I'm confident they will be successful as a pilot and pass their practical test with flying colors. That's why, if you train with me for your certificate or rating, from start to finish, you will pass your checkride the first time, I guarantee it. I will make sure you are a safe, effective, and confident pilot, and that is my personal promise to you!

A little bit about me...
I am a Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor and former Part 141 Assistant Chief Instructor with more than 3000 hours of dual given on the ground and in the air. While most CFI's are mainly interested in building time to get hired at the airlines, my passion has always been in education, and that means your goals are my only goals. Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of students and certificated pilots doing private, instrument, commercial, and instructor training. I've also spent years testing pilots for their certificates, so I know very well what DPE's look for in a successful candidate, and more than 90% of my students pass their own tests first time. My students have ranged anywhere from middle school to retirement age, proving that it is never too early or late to take to the skies, and each one represents a unique addition to our thriving aviation community. Flight training can be challenging and demanding, but there's no reason it shouldn't also feel rewarding and fun!
